Registration update - 2020/2021
 

As of 23rd September 2020 our registration still remains closed.  This is in part to the current COBVID 19 situation and that we do not have access to facilities to run our program.  The School District has closed all facilities to renter groups until January 2021 and the City are reviewing their rental situation at the end of October 2020.  When the situation becomes clearer we will be post here and advise our membership.
 

 

Fall Registration - 2020/2021

REGISTRATION IS CURRENTLY CLOSED

 

The Fall Season runs from end September to mid March.  Grade 4-12 will have one practice and one game per week.  We are a community club and play against teams from within the club.  Our locations are at local Tsawwassen and Ladner schools - both high and elementary schools.

Spring Registration - 2020
 

REGISTRATION FOR SPRING PROGRAM HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED

Please note this program is intended for returning South Delta Basketball players from the recent fall season or players that have played basketball to a good standard. This program is not suited for beginners to the sport.   Our fall program is best suited if you are still developing your skills or are a new player.

 

Our Spring program offers all U11-U17 South Delta boys and girls an opportunity to be back on the court to join us for competitive games, tournaments, practices and team building exercises for the Spring.  The Spring season runs from April 2020 through July 2020.

The cost for this program is $350. This will include professional coaches, a home and away uniform set, warm-up shirt, and two practices a week.  

Wednesday & Friday 6-9.30pm are the program days.

Basketballs and tournaments are not included with the registration fee. Each tournament will cost $50 per player.

Hoop Fest May 1-3
BC Spring Shootout May 22-24
Summer Close-Out July 18-19

Players will be placed in the Spring program sessions (games, tournaments & local practices) based on the player’s ability and in the best interest and development of the player.
 
Our goal is to provide boys and girls a competitive basketball environment that will help players take their game to the next level! To achieve this goal, we are working with our local high school coaches. Thus giving our players an opportunity to continue to play when their season is over, so they can make their team stronger in seasons to come.

 

*We will try to accommodate all players for the Spring. Spring sessions will be based on numbers, skill level of the players, gym schedule and coaches. 

 

IMPORTANT NOTE - The Spring Program has a dedicated spring registrar.

Refund Policies

 

POLICY FOR THE SPRING SEASON:

Our refund policy for the spring will be:

 

• Up to and including April 8th - 100% refund of registration fee minus $25.00 admin fee

• Up to and including May 8th - 50% refund of registration fee minus $25.00 admin fee

• No refunds will be issued after May 8th

 

If you need to withdrawn for any reason please be aware of the above cut-off dates and contact the REGISTRAR immediately.

REFUND POLICY FOR THE FALL SEASON:

We understand that multiple schedules can be challenging and children change their minds so below are the cut off dates for our refund policy:

 

• Up to and including September 1st - 100% refund of registration fee minus $25.00 admin fee

• Up to and including October 1st - 50% refund of registration fee minus $25.00 admin fee

• No refunds will be issued after October 1st

 

If you need to withdrawn for any reason please be aware of the above cut-off dates and contact the REGISTRAR immediately.

Financial Assistance

At South Delta Basketball we believe that every child should have the opportunity to play basketball.  We work with Delta KidSport to remove the financial barriers.
